Hatred only begets more hatred. This old retired psychiatrist has spent a lifetime looking behind and underneath the false selves of tragic figures like those you so brilliantly excoriate. Narcissists are the result of an early deficit of love/attention and, so, are doomed to a lifelong search for the self-love they otherwise lack. Compassionate regard for all suffering creatures is the Buddhist way and I, for one, follow it. I know this from personal as well as professional experience, as my father was a classic narcissist/sociopath and his mother died when he was 10 yo, only to have his father ship he and his sister off to live with their stern Hungarian grandparents. He spent the rest of his endlessly charming life looking for love in all the wrong places. He's buried alone in a huge cemetery in Upper Arlington, Ohio. I have visited once in 40 yrs. I'm sorry you had to go through such a childhood. It is so unjust for any child to go through. It is one of the CNI missions to improve public knowledge in that regard too, but saving democracy comes first right now.
I know your reality from childhood because I had two parents who loved, encouraged and supported me, so sometimes felt guilty when other friends didn't even have one. Of course I only understood their narcissist parents where selfish jerks back then. Was your primary psych area in Cluster B?
If you've listened to any of tfg speeches in CA yesterday, he said he would refuse emergency funding for firefighters unless the Governor did something he wanted…why any first responders would vote for him is beyond me…actually, it makes me think they are dirty too. Project 2025 has language to weaken unions, he and “Leon” laughed about firing striking workers. He said in the debate that he has nothing to do with Project 2025, weird how it exactly matches the mass deportation threats he's been making, please read it.
