In case you missed the origin story of the “weird” label landing like a ton of sticky bricks on trump, vance and the maga GOP, it was brought into the zeitgeist by pre-VP selected Tim Waltz. He eloquently explained why he labeled their behavior “weird.” “I don’t know where this is coming from” but it’s the “he-man woman haters club, which is weird.”
Certainly those becoming more familiar with Counter-Narcissist Intelligence philosophy can see how it explains why the GOP is so weird and where it is coming from. Indeed the reason “weird” and “creepy” are working so well for the Dems in labeling trump, vance and most other Republicans is because malignant narcissism, sociopathy and psychopathy are normally “weird” and “creepy” personality disorders.
To be clear, CNI never wants to stigmatize the rare few with a Cluster B condition trying to be good. However, part of being a good member of society as a pathological narcissist is being honest about their need for moral guidance, guardrails and firm barriers to keep from falling into the trap of purely self-serving urges, or from having those urges manipulated by a better narcissist, just as trump does to the GOP base, aka those who are groomed, propagandized and/or Dunning Kruger narcissists.

To go deeper into the psychology that explains how they are “weird,” let’s examine how trump’s “I hire all the best people” is such a weird lie. Isn’t it strange how neither the media nor conservatives ever seem to recognize that almost everyone trump hires is not the best, but a similar kind of narcissist weirdo?
Or they end up claiming they were fooled by him and finally recognized that they had to stop selling their soul and self-respect. It is as if their own narcissism blocked their perceptions and denial was helping them live in a self-serving reality distortion field, which may or may not be weird, but it is certainly a red flag.
The idea of an actual rogues’ gallery came about when potential artwork for maga GOP weirdness was reviewed. Since I have been collecting memes and screenshots for over a decade, so many of the 10,000+ are new again, and with American freedom and democracy on the line, there is no point in holding anything back for the next few months. The hope is many readers will find a few that inspire them or will be helpful in any counter-narcissist messages they want to put forward.
This long but partial visual rogues’ gallery should also be strong evidence for anyone who needs a reminder of how almost everyone around trump and those he has hired are always “weird,” and/or have similar psychological or intellectual issues that allow them to immorally ignore or be blind to his traitorous craven lunacy.
Those who claimed to have joined him in defense of democracy must speak up now or be forever branded a traitor to the American people and Constitution. How else can any non-narcissist explain working for and legitimizing a man who has been a demented narcissist lunatic, barely holding on to reality for the better part of a decade, if not much longer?

An easy and clarifying way to understand any rogues’ gallery of weirdo swamp creatures that financially resourced malignant narcissists surround themselves with is to know they want other cold, callus and transactional non-thinkers just like themselves, who will shamelessly do their bidding for a price. This is a big part of what it means when CNI declares, “Narcissists of a feather flock together.”
Lastly, to better understand and best process this thought line, one is required to always remember that sociopaths and psychopaths by definition, are narcissists too.

Hatred only begets more hatred. This old retired psychiatrist has spent a lifetime looking behind and underneath the false selves of tragic figures like those you so brilliantly excoriate. Narcissists are the result of an early deficit of love/attention and, so, are doomed to a lifelong search for the self-love they otherwise lack. Compassionate regard for all suffering creatures is the Buddhist way and I, for one, follow it. I know this from personal as well as professional experience, as my father was a classic narcissist/sociopath and his mother died when he was 10 yo, only to have his father ship he and his sister off to live with their stern Hungarian grandparents. He spent the rest of his endlessly charming life looking for love in all the wrong places. He's buried alone in a huge cemetery in Upper Arlington, Ohio. I have visited once in 40 yrs.
