Not that there are any shortages of people, places and things to psychologically profile via the narcissism spectrum, but I think we can do a nice little once a week or so, 5-25 minute podcast where readers ask their toughest psychological questions and we put them through the CNI answer machine.
Suggestions to make the show:
Obviously, the more specific and narrow the question, the higher probability it can be easily answered. For the broader and deeper questions, we will just need to see which shorter answers can be satisfying in this format.
Short and sweet. Ideally one sentence but no more than a paragraph. Two if you must.
Questions with potential “solutional” or revelational answers are prioritized.
Nothing too dark! We all see and hear enough of that every day now.
Questions that can have an entertaining aspect are prioritized.
Early birds have higher chances at the worm.

I still can’t shake this broadly spread narcissism that covers the country. I truly need some help understanding how a malignant narcissist was able to take control of a political party he wasn’t affiliated with most of his life and essentially turned 35% of it into a cult. So my question is about the people who know better, the political leaders of said party who publicly support all this. Are they narcissistic too? What else would cause responsible representatives, senators, businessmen who had in the past spotted and called out the narcissistic behavior but now turns a blind eye or actively supports it? I think back to when Barry Goldwater led a delegation to the WH to advise Nixon to resign as he and his staffers broke the law and the public’s trust.
How do you effectively deal with a narcissistic coworker/boss?
