Sam, I’ve been watching a lively social media discussion about the pros and cons of talking about trump’s incontinence. One side uses it to throw him off his strongman pose. The other insists it’s ableist. I’d love to know your thoughts. I can see both sides. TIA. LOVE your work.
I repeatedly am astonished about how many of the top grossing movies have fascism and narcissism at the core (and thus, the meaning is repeated to viewers but those viewers cannot see it): Indiana Jones, Avatar, Star Wars (the villains even dressed like Nazis), probably the entire Marvel universe, and on an on. People cheer against the fascists and dictators, and then go vote for them. And then there are the Matrix movies, where the entire premise is that nearly everyone is asleep.
I honestly believe it would take Obama , getting full coverage by the media, to out trump’s malignant narcissism. He’s the only politician that can articulate this and bring back his coalition into the fold for 2024. Bill Clinton is too damaged and Klobuchar and Buttigieg for obvious reasons don’t have the political reach. Obama is going to have to get up in that stage at the convention and prosecute the case.
I don’t think it was Mein Kampf but rather her a collection of Hitler’s speeches.
The Ivana episode was about a scalp reduction procedure to addresshis baldness. He thought it painful and beat the crap out of his wife and raped her too, like a good narcissist.
This is a guy who went to the movies while his brother was actively dying that evening.
Before donalds Divorce Papers from his first marriage were sealed, reporters got ahold of them (probably through Ivana) and published the low points. One was that Ivana claimed donald kept Hitler’s book on his bedside table. The other low point was her rape by donald over a painful scalp plastic surgery gone wrong. She had recommended the surgeon. Both claims ring true to me!
