"Interesting article by Twitter follower Sam Ray here. So true! Putin, I always thought, was a loose cannon, even his early KGB superiors didn't trust him due to his impulsive behavior and risky approach to intelligence operations. #Putin #KGB" - Robert Morton (Former Intelligence Officer) - @Robert4787 Mar 21, 2023

Awesome piece. I see it much the same.

The Hubris-Nemesis complex, I think is a useful construct to analyze these malignant a-holes, like Trump and Putin. (And I have no doubt, America could be every bit as toxic under Trump’s prolonged leadership)

Thanks so much for the great review and mentioning "The Hubris-Nemesis complex." It only sounds vaguely familiar but love the clarity and poetry of the term itself. I will definitely check it out as soon as I finish the latest. My general philosophy is almost everything like that is a subset of the narcissism spectrum psychology, but anything that makes empirical psychology more accessible is essential, because most people's eyes gloss over with dryly presented straight psych. Cheers!
