During and after the 2016 election when Trump’s behavior would go wobbly but nothing like his last 2 yrs in office, The Art of the Deal ghost writer ( or co-author but he essentially wrote the entire book) , Schwartz (sp?) is his name, was brought in to the cable news shows to explain Trump’s behavior. Although I had followed Trump’s arc from the ‘80s to his reality show , there was not much evidence that he was unable to read, or think through a problem or always react from his gut. Schwartz was trying to explain the “black hole” inside Trump that prevents him from letting go transgressions, or attention seeking behavior or malignant narcissism that to Schwartz was obvious. Many thanks f those who voted for him had no clue and Schwartz knew he his but was unable to make this an issue. Now he very one knows.
Does he even matter that much? It is a common illusion that in authoritarian systems one man decides everything. This is simply not possible. He reads reports. Whoever decides what goes into those reports has a lot of power. In reality, every system is "rule of the few", as rule of one and rule of many are not possible.
