Although I’m relatively new to Substack I sensed Sam was less visible but speculated that he might have some periods of high output and then retreat to dive into research so this memorial was quite unexpected and very moving. I got a good “sense” of Clifford which really is what one wants to convey to a reader and it was done in a concise essay. You don’t meet many Cliffords in one’s life and I’m always grateful when I do. It somehow restores my faith in humanity.

Sending you peace and love, Brother.

Even if the circle of life revolves as it should, one just isn’t prepared for some events. You’re a good man, Sam Ray. Keep doing you. You’re really good at it!😉

Thanks Jed. No doubt most here have lost loved ones and our hearts go out to all of you too. What I kept saying to console everyone (because it is mostly true) is we would all take 92 good years, but I couldn't say that in the CNI community because I know we have a fair amount of readers in their 80s, and likely a few beyond 92, and hope they keep going strong ; )

Regardless of the time we have, my hope is for all to live their best lives for themselves an humanity. I know many here have overpowering struggles due to a narcissist, so another hope here is to remind everyone time is finite. aka doing some good things and self-care for yourself isn't being a narcissist. It's being human.

Thanks KB. Unfortunately they only list the top 6 overlaps but I'd guess there is about a 25% overlap. On the flip-side, the analytics do say CNI has generated 100 subscribers for Dr. Lee, making her #1 on our list.

Deepest sympathy to you and your Mom. So sorry for your loss. 💐 It sounds like he was well loved and will be well remembered.

On another note ... I am curious to know what % of overlap CNI has with Bandy X. Lee’s Substack? Both being psychological in nature, I suspect the correlation is quite strong.
