Why Narcissists Never Take Responsibility

Part I - They can’t handle the truth.

I recently watched two smart GenZers (Adam Mockler and Micah Erfan‬) ask a very good question about taking responsibility in the aftermath of trump loyalist Charlie Kirk’s assassination, that was allegedly confessed to by the young son of a seemingly ideal maga family.

A story about an existential hidden epidemic

For those unfamiliar with Counter-Narcissist Intelligence, after spending the late 2000s studying narcissistic disorders to rescue a close friend from a sociopath’s tangled web, in 2014 I crossed a psychological Rubicon.

What was finally recognized after narcissism data fully infiltrated my international relations mindset and burnt an impossible path to miss, was that there is an existential hidden epidemic in every society around the world that few, if any, were viewing through public mental health, national security, or global stability terms.

How mind-blowing it was to realize that the compulsive antisocial behaviors of malignant narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths were in every country in the world and in far more families than most seem to realize.

However, it is not our fault for not knowing about such narcissists. That is because there has been a near total blackout of public education regarding these psychic vampires, emotional terrorists, and existential dangers on a global scale. 🤯 Perhaps this information was obscured for the same reasons the epstein client list and files have been hidden from the public?

Most importantly, it also became obvious that just about everyone who was consistently doing selfish, greedy, evil, and cruel things in America, around the globe, and throughout history was often perfectly aligned like clockwork with the traits, tells, and behaviors of those high up on the narcissism spectrum. Not an absolute but a “Wow, that explains a lot” for so many totally self-serving greed monsters.

This revelation was as if a veil had been removed from society. Sadly, on the dark side, it also eventually became clear that we had been badly failed and/or sold out by our top modern psychological institutions and that we will struggle to survive or live in a Mad Max future if these completely self-serving forces are not intelligently countered soon.

Ergo, proto-CNI philosophy was born to show how to view, explain, and act in real-world events via narcissist psychology intelligence. However, it still is shocking how vulnerable our nations have left us to the narcissisms that have always been pathologically used against us by those who have little to no control over their selfishness, fears, or predatory compulsions.

In other words, the primary purpose of this kind of CNI analysis is to show how in specific dark situations, there are usually telltale signs that reveal near psychological certainties, such as why one should never expect narcissists to take responsibility for anything, ever, and plan accordingly.

Part of the plan now and into the future should ideally include trusted strength in numbers allies because while narcissists work to divide and isolate, the power and advancement of humanity has always been the strongest through cooperation and helping out fellow humans. There’s a reason malignant-type narcissists despise empathy. 🤔

Growing up in the SF Bay, I learned nice people and bad people come in every religion, ethnicity, orientation, culture, or whatever. In psychology, one learns percentages of narcissists usually only vary based on historical and current trauma levels, no matter what the religion, preferences, or color shades of society are.

I know some don’t want to hear this, but from a psychological perspective, all humans seem to be pretty much the same, although studies do show roughly 70% of psychopaths are men. I suspect that a fair amount of that extra 20% is tied to the hereditary component of psychopathy.

Don’t be a malignant type of narcissist!!

Of course, the most common short answer to why people with these mental disorders behave this way is, they “can’t handle the truth,” followed by, they don’t want you to know the truth and/or realize any of their own understandably hidden truths. Reasons vary. The end.

What we currently know is that the political violence in Utah was committed by someone who came from a seemingly ideal maga family. This reality is why trump and maga are in such a state of narcissistic rage and sociopathically lashing out and blaming everyone except themselves in response, in a form of narcissistic collapse.

What a coincidence malignant narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths look for absolutely any excuse to blame and attack their prey and perceived enemies, and in narcissistic rage or collapse will completely deny, project, play the victim, or do virtually anything to avoid looking in the mirror and facing their own responsibility and demons.

Certainly, blaming everyone else is standard operating procedure for every narcissist trying to avoid their unimaginable pain of admitting they are ever wrong, or made a mistake or that implementing their beliefs serves no one, including themselves. When it comes to narcissists, the bill is a mind-shattering reckoning to them when a devil they created comes looking for their due.

Never taking responsibility

As Mockler and Erfan discussed, what has been “pretty well established” in the media is that the murder was committed by the 22-year-old son of a former law enforcement officer who confessed to his father. One way or another the family turned him in.

Again, what was striking about the young shooter is he is from an economically comfortable, white, conservative Christian, gun-loving, maga Republican family who supports trump. In other words, the perfect American family according to trump, maga, and the Republican Party.

The fact that someone like this shot Kirk is a massive problem for maga, because they thought those from their ideal environment were being groomed to be one of their soldiers, not one of their enemies.

These inconvenient maga truths have no doubt triggered the base narcissistic compulsions to distract, such as going on a massive attack of denial, projection, and playing the victims themselves.

However, while maga was certainly victimized in losing a leader, it is important to keep focus on the fact that only in a malignantly narcissistic reality does anyone have the right or justification to lash out, blame, and victimize everyone they hate in response to something completely unrelated. This is clear marker of maga madness if they continue false-blaming, which they will, because they “can’t handle the truth.”

Just know that when someone consistently blames and attacks everyone but themselves for what they cause, there are few clearer signs of an unhealthy narcissist than that.

This certainly explains some of the insanity behind trump and maga so aggressively trying to say Kirk’s murder was the fault of Democrats, the left, progressives, trans folks, or anyone else they want to target with a massive Reichstag 🔥 of projection.

The Reichstag Fire was an arson attack on the German parliament in 1933. The Nazis used it as justification to consolidate power and suppress civil liberties.

The rest is explained by the general dark psychology of malignant types of narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths, because the shamelessness and consciencelessness it takes to willingly and unjustly blame others for one’s own bad behaviors via denial, projection, and playing the victim are identical to symptoms of those with narcissistic disorders.

From a CNI perspective, once someone repeatedly crosses the never-take-personal-responsiblity Rubicon, it is a pretty easy prediction to make that they won’t stop blaming others until stopped with some kind of firm barrier.

A very good question

In all this context, essentially what Mockler and Erfan asked was, “Why must we be forced to defend extremists on the far left when there is violence, when they are not even part of the Democratic voting block, while Republicans never seem to have to take any responsibility for any of their own homegrown political terrorists?”

As they noted and was covered in A Narcissist’s Conscienceless Brain, a trump-loving murderer in Minnesota had a hit list with a goal to shoot lawmakers in order to change the balance of power in the state legislatures from Democratic to Republican.

This darkness was quite the political violence wake-up call for a few days for non-maga, but then America’s clickbait media just moved on again. That is not mentioning how many on the right, including Utah Senator mike lee and trump jr, again without proof, immediately claimed the far-right Minnesota killer was on the left and refused to later admit he was one of their own. See the pattern?

Online grooming

It is also currently believed that the young man was at least partly seduced by the dark side of the internet that preys on lonely, insecure, and vulnerable young people by filling them with anger, fear, loathing, and hate.

You know who the natural masters of such kinds of psychological online manipulation are? You guessed it: malignant narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths. Do you ever think they would take responsibility for a crime beyond bragging about manipulating someone into doing it? Right again.

Worse still now, a lot of these antisocial behaviors are now encouraged by the tech overlords who are either shameless in destroying democracies and civilized societies “for a few dollars more” in their wealth terms, or they are filled with the anger, fear, loathing, and hate for humanity they facilitate spreading, or both.

It is, however, being reported today that his online community was just as confused by his motivations as everyone else, he had a relationship with his trans roommate and wanted to kill Kirk because of all his anti-trans and anti-gay “hate.”

It does make sense that if a young maga man in love was told everywhere in his life that his relationship was a sin, evil, and something to be hated for, that would make him very angry, confused, and want to act out.

If so, it is not hard to assume that Kirk would be alive today if his killer was allowed to love the trans women he loved in peace. Of course that is a question almost no one in maga will ever ask themselves, so they must lash out at everyone else to avoid thinking about it.

How do you know a malignant-type narcissist when you see one?

I know what many new people are thinking. Yes, a lot of people are horrible, but how can you not know someone personally yet think you know they are a narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath? And that is a very fair question.

Of course CNI’s simple answer is that if they selfishly and shamelessly lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, and never take any responsibility in the same ways as a malignant type of narcissist, what’s the difference?

If day after day, they are putting out the same societal poison, cruelty, and trauma as a clinically diagnosed narcissist, the daylight between a supposedly healthy person and an unhealthy self-serving person seems almost imperceptible, so the answer is CNI generally goes by observing tells, finding consistent patterns, and matching symptoms. If everything matches and there are no inconsistencies, what other conclusion is there to draw?

Key point: Always remember that adults who change from consistently selfish to reasonably healthy are very rare exceptions to the rule. It seems the worm turns on being forced to change and still having the ability to empathize and feel shame.

However, one needs to always remember that most malignant-type narcissists have had a lifetime of practice in faking human emotions, so they can effectively and convincingly “lie like breathing” about anything to anyone.

Clearly the few who can honestly change were more environmentally seduced by the dark side, but possessed enough normal human emotions at their core. While malignant types have no low they won’t go to, the potentially redeemable find a line they won’t cross. Sadly, that line rarely exists for those with compulsive narcissistic disorders who blow by every line.

In part II out this weekend, we will break down the psychological differences and the who, when, where, why, and how malignant narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths are driven to never take responsibility.

The intel should help you better recognize what level of narcissist you may be dealing with when you come across someone who consistently avoids taking responsibility and shamelessly flip-flops to justify victimizing others.
