Pathocracy - An Introduction

A government of, by and for pathological narcissists.

I was reminded by a subscriber that I recently mentioned how “Pathocracy” seems to be the most Counter-Narcissist-related form of government, and that plans were being made to analyze it.

“From the little I know of Pathocracy, it has quite like-minded conclusions with CNI. According to Polish psychologist Andrew Lobaczewski’s theory of Pathocracy, it is a government run by people with pathological disorders, which certainly seems to at least rhyme with CNI theory.

As the term is gaining some traction based on our government’s behaviors, I have been slowly exploring the theory further with an intriguing CNI analysis plan or two in the works. No doubt others could do the same.” - True Believers or Psychological Disorders?

Therefore, due to its seemingly 🎯 importance, it makes sense to share more intelligence, give an update, and put out a specific request for questions, thoughts or knowledge-sharing on the subject, so CNI can “give the people what they want.”

“I am quite enamored with the idea of Pathocracy that you mentioned in a previous article. The Republican party’s main tenant is narcissism. It actively recruits and attracts those who will be submissive/enabling to a narcissist (a la trump) or be full on narcissists themselves. We are talking about multiple levels in the party that are this way.

Their only job is to delude, distract and deflect their constituents as they rob them blind. They protect each other even when some members’ incompetence and shamelessness like Santos/trump put them at risk of losing their jobs.

I see the oligarchs imposing this pathocracy on the people they donate to and on the people that work for their companies. It is amusing to me that grand Poobah narcissist elon musk talks about fraud and waste in government (projection) when management by a malignant narcissist with the similarly aligned management underneath him will incompetently create billions of dollars of waste themselves.

Perhaps this is the most scary thing about the DOGE assault on federal workforce as it seeks to align the federal government with its leaders’ pathocracy whether by selective layoffs or complete replacement of divisions with commercial constructs.”

“Good analysis Bill. Indeed, from what I have gauged of pathocracy, it seems to be quite in line with the CNI philosophy.

The struggle I have been having is that it gets a bit jargony, and with its creator from Poland, clear understanding of the translation can sometimes be a challenge, and these vague areas are open to a wider variety of (conflicting) interpretations. The reason CNI abhors such psychological vagueness (and abstractions) is because that is where narcissists creep in,” and start projecting.

A pathological narcissist projects by accusing others of narcissism.

Firstly, Bill’s interest reminded me how many psychologically intelligent people there are in the CNI community, that others must have also spent some quality time looking into the concepts of pathocracy, and may be willing to share their observations as well.

Therefore, I want to encourage anyone who has researched pathocracy or political ponerology to answer the same questions if you have any thoughts, observations, or conclusions on such things.

“I’m curious if you have gone very deep into the literature, where you have found useful information, and if you have noticed any right-wing capture?”

Purpose: This will hopefully provide more informed data, observations and priorities, which in turn will help expedite the long CNI process on such a complex subject. Certainly with the think tank’s pathocracy file at 800+ items, any assistance in focus or otherwise is much appreciated.

Narcissist probabilities, history and deadly tricks

To be clear, there are pathological narcissists on the left and center too, so not all right-wing pathocracy analysis is wrong, but there is no doubt that selfishness, greed and narcissism are far more natural and historical fits on the right, than in the center, or on the left.

Too much? Virtually every king, queen and oligarchic elite throughout history has been pathologically conservative in giving up any of their own wealth or power. Sounds like almost every oligarch or narcissist that we know of today, doesn’t it?

Of course right-wingers love to claim the nazis were socialists, but that only proves they are ignorant of history, or lying. The nazis only pretended not to be corporatists until hitler consolidated power. During the Night of Long Knives, he killed the nazi’s most socialist leaders, making his pathocratic/authoritarian takeover near complete.

In this regard, trump, elon and maga foolishly revealed their malignantly narcissistic and pathological weaknesses too soon by screwing over the entire nation from the start, including their own voting bases.

Reality and stupid narcissists going too far, too fast

From a CNI perspective, the proof is always in the reality of the situation. Ergo, since our oligarchs are too entitled and drunk with power to restrain their own destructive behaviors, they have been focused on purchasing, controlling or silencing the levers of accurate information and education, as if the slightest bit of self-control is impossible.

While it is true that if populations are not informed that the vast majority of far-right accusations are nothing more than lies, half-truths and projection, and that “dear leader’s plans are really “dumb,” they can keep getting away with it until reality cannot be hidden by propaganda anymore. Fortunately, America is tasked with defeating mostly stupid narcissists.

Another reality example of ideology is it is not global centrists, moderates or leftist narcissists who are currently close to ruling America and the Earth in a form of pathocratic “government,” by acting in ways the world has seen and suffered through before. Fascism and nazism are what it is called when conservatives go full egomaniacal authoritarian, but based on the behaviors, these are pathocracies too.

Conclusions

Indeed the pathocracy concept seems to see the world in many of the same ways as CNI, such as how there are governments run by small groups of people pathologically (compulsively) driven to only serve themselves, anyone who owns them, or helps them serve themselves more. If you see the global situation in the same light, please assist CNI and others working against such threats however you can, before it is too late.

The truth of the matter is several times I have started with the prologue or chapter one, found myself agreeing with the parts I understood, and then woke up a few hours later. It’s not boring. There is just so much abstraction and depth with a soft monotone voice, that it can be quite hypnotic.

Of course psychology being presented in unentertaining or in unhelpful hypnotic ways is one of society’s failures CNI works to rectify. With that in mind, here is one of my favorite new writing videos. The music is extremely tranquil in the background and my reaction to the image is, I would definitely love and enjoy entertaining, relaxing or philosophizing in a backyard like that.
